UK exhibition calendar and trade shows

Find your next trade show in the United Kingdom, then plan what you need to exhibit. Search our UK exhibition calendar by date, sector, region and venue. Each show record brings together the published dates, location, audience and organiser source so you can check whether it fits your business before booking.

Upcoming trade shows and exhibitions

Start with the upcoming exhibitions below or open the full calendar for more dates. A trade fair can help you meet buyers, compare products and services or showcase a new product, but the right audience matters more than the size of the event. Check whether entry is trade-only and whether visitor registration and exhibitor enquiries follow different routes. Planning into 2027? The full calendar includes published editions of Bett UK, Spring Fair and International Confex. Open each record to check its dates and official source.

Is every expo open to visitors?

No. Some exhibitions admit trade visitors only, while others have public sessions or separate ticket types. Check the event page and follow the official registration route. A conference pass may not include the exhibition, or vice versa. If you are visiting to research suppliers, make appointments and allow time to compare products rather than trying to see every stand.

Browse by sector

Choose the sector your customers work in, not just the one your own company belongs to. A travel and tourism exhibition, for example, may be relevant to a hospitality supplier as well as a tour operator. Compare the published audience with the people you need to reach. Product launches and innovation showcases can be useful reasons to visit, but they are not evidence that an event will bring you leads.

Which trade expo fits your audience?

Look for the job roles, business types and purchasing responsibilities that matter to you. A large-scale show may attract a broad audience, while a smaller specialist event may be easier to work effectively. Ask the organiser whether its figures mean visits or unique visitors and which edition they describe. The phrase industry leaders does not tell you how many relevant decision-makers will be there.

Find an exhibition centre

Look at the venue as well as the show. Excel London and NEC Birmingham host different organisers and industries throughout the year; a familiar exhibition centre does not mean every edition has the same admission or delivery arrangements. Check the official hall, access times, travel options and accessibility information before arranging transport or accommodation.

Check the conference and exhibition arrangements

If the programme combines a conference with an exhibition, check whether the same pass covers both. Confirm the hall rather than relying only on the venue name. Before reserving a hotel in London or travelling to another city, verify opening hours, last admission and any advance-registration requirement. Visitors and stand staff may need different passes and different arrival times.

Exhibition stand planning

Turn a shortlist into a practical exhibitor plan. Decide what success means for your team, set a budget and brief suppliers on the audience, available exhibition space and activities you want the stand to support. Our guides cover choosing a show, comparing quotations, delivery and installation, and following up the conversations afterwards. Keep freight, power, storage and staffing in the plan rather than treating them as extras.

Following up exhibition leads

Record the conversation, agree the next step and make it happen. Badge scans alone are not a follow-up plan.

Planning stand delivery and installation

Work backwards from the hall handover, not from the courier collection. Keep access, handling and the return journey in one plan.

Briefing a stand builder

Give every supplier the same usable brief so you can compare the design, delivery and exclusions rather than just the render.

What should an exhibition stand brief include?

Explain your products, audience and intended conversations before choosing a layout. Include the floor plan, stand dimensions, height restrictions and organiser deadlines. Tell the supplier whether you need a private meeting area, a product demonstration or room for samples. Agree the graphic artwork process and what happens if a delivery is late. A clear brief makes design and build quotations easier to compare. If a quote uses booth design rather than stand design, compare the actual floor plan and specification, not the label.

Suppliers for your trade fair

Find help with stand design and build, displays and graphics, furniture, AV and connectivity, or freight and installation. Compare the scope of each service against your organiser manual. Ask who handles venue orders, what is included in delivery and who is responsible for collection after the show. A supplier listing is a starting point for your checks, not an endorsement or a guarantee of availability.

Your listing

Organisers and suppliers can submit a useful free listing or request ownership of an existing one. Claims and changes are reviewed before publication. If a date, venue or business detail is wrong, use the correction route without buying a plan. Paid prominence, where available, is labelled separately from the factual listing.

Using the UK trade show calendar

Use this trade show calendar to make a shortlist, then confirm the current edition with the organiser. Show pages identify their sources and check dates; unannounced dates are not guesses. An expo can change its venue, timetable or audience rules, so check again before committing to a stand or non-refundable travel. This is a practical exhibition directory, not a booking service.

How should I use the calendar?

Search the dates you can attend, then open the individual show record. Compare the published audience and official event information with your business objectives. Keep a shortlist, speak to the organiser about exhibiting and use the preparation guides to build your budget. The calendar helps with discovery; the organiser remains the source for admission, availability and contractual terms.
