The Event Production Show (EPS) is a two-day trade exhibition and conference for people who plan and deliver outdoor and live events, from festivals, sport and stadium tours to brand activations, local authority celebrations and cultural events. Organised by Mash Media in collaboration with Access All Areas magazine, it returns to Excel London in March 2027, and the organiser says it has served the live event industry for over 35 years.
EPS 2027 dates and opening times
| Day | Date | Open |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Wednesday 3 March 2027 | 09:30 to 17:30 |
| Day 2 | Thursday 4 March 2027 | 09:30 to 16:30 |
Entry is free with online registration. The show is open to anyone working in live event production, music, sport and culture, including event producers and production managers, technical and AV staff, venue and site teams, agencies, festival and touring crews, and event owners and promoters. Suppliers may also register as visitors if their work is in sporting, cultural or live events production. Students can only come on Day 2, through a student programme run with AEME via participating universities, and student applications made on the general form are rejected.
Conference stages and topics
The programme deals with crowd management and safety, sustainability, creativity and attendee experience, supply chains, diversity and technology. Six stages are planned for 2027:
- AAA Main Stage, run with Access All Areas, for headline sessions aimed at directors and production leaders.
- The Other Stage, backed by NOEA and AFEM, focused on festival debates and investment.
- The LIVE Lounge, new for 2027 and curated by LIVE and AIF for festival professionals.
- Off the Record, also new, for frank industry discussion that stays in the room.
- Agency HQ, on how agencies win work and keep talent, shared with International Confex.
- AI & Data Zone, on automation and analytics in event planning and marketing, also shared with International Confex.
The 2026 programme ran on 25 and 26 February across a Main Stage, The Futures Stage, AAA The Other Stage and The Knowledge Hub.
Co-located shows
EPS shares one hall with International Confex, also run by Mash Media, and The PA Show. A single visitor badge covers all three, and changes in carpet colour help visitors find theatres, stands and networking areas. Badges can only be printed at the EPS entrance, though a badge printed at home also gets you in. Our note on what a co-located exhibition ticket covers explains how shared passes like this usually work.
Show size
The organiser reports that 4,770 live event professionals had registrations approved for EPS 2025 and that over 90 speakers took part that year. It describes the show as bringing together over 200 exhibitors and 100 speakers. Exhibitors at EPS 2026 included A1 Loo Hire, Atlas Ground Protection, Chevron Traffic Management, Arley Medical Services and Alpha Crew.
Exhibiting and sponsorship
Companies send an enquiry form on the show site and the team follows up with options. Theatre sponsorship is offered separately and includes naming rights, branded staging and signage, attendee data from that theatre and a place on a panel. First-time exhibitors may find our guide to shell scheme or space only useful when weighing stand types.
Getting to Excel London
The show is reached by the DLR or the Elizabeth line, using the Custom House entrance. On-site parking costs £30 a day on a first come, first served basis, and blue badge holders also pay. Visitors can plan a low-carbon route with registration partner You. Smart. Thing.; the organiser says only 6% of EPS 2026 attendees planned driving-only journeys. Accommodations UK holds discounted hotel rates for the show, with Premier Inn London Docklands (Excel) the closest option, about four minutes’ walk away. A quiet room at the EventWell Resilience Hub, human signage for visually impaired visitors and a portable ramp are provided.
