Telford International Centre (TIC) is a purpose-built exhibition and conference venue on International Way in Telford town centre, Shropshire, beside Southwater Square. It is part of the Southwater Event Group, which also runs three hotels nearby and the StagecraftUK production business. The venue opened in 1983 as a national racquet centre and has operated as a business events venue for more than four decades.
The venue
- Space: 15,000 m² over two floors, with three interlinking ground-floor halls (Halls 1, 2 and 3), two large suites, breakout rooms and a first-floor gallery
- Exhibitions: the venue publishes trade exhibition capacity from 1,500 m² up to 10,000 m² for the full venue, with the Ludlow Suite offered for smaller exhibitions
- Conferences: 500 to 1,500 delegates, as published by the venue
- Parking: over 1,500 on-site spaces
- Accommodation: 400 bedrooms on site, as published by the venue
- Services: in-house catering and an on-site production team (StagecraftUK) offering exhibition management and an exhibitor ordering system
The public calendar mixes trade shows such as the Furniture Component Expo and The Beekeeping Show with hobby and enthusiast exhibitions, sporting events and the town pantomime.
