Magic Modular lets you buy or hire one reusable modular exhibition system and use it again across your events. Magic Modular is a Glasgow company that designs, sells and hires its own system, sold under the Magic Modular® name, with stands built from aluminium frames, connectors and printed graphic panels that join like building blocks. The company says it has more than 15 years of experience and covers all areas of the UK, and its contact page also lists a Magic Modular office in Opole, Poland.
A set sized to your stand space
You can choose a set by the size of your stand space. Sets run from 2-frame pylons to 36-frame displays and are named after their frame count.
| Set | Stand space | Layouts the company quotes |
|---|---|---|
| MM6 | Part of the small range for 2 to 16 sqm | More than 25 |
| MM12 | 6 to 16 sqm | More than 80 |
| MM18 | 6 to 42 sqm | More than 90 |
| MM24 | 10 to 60 sqm | More than 100 |
| MM36 | 16 to 100 sqm | More than 150 |
The MM6 kit holds six 750 x 1000mm frames, 20 connectors, two hinges, an aluminium trolley, a table top and panel carry bags. The company says it goes up in under 15 minutes, and you can also use it as a point of sale unit, back wall or pylon.
The same frames beyond the stand
You can use the same frames as conference walls, pop-up shops and promotional stands. A conference wall can stand free with graphics on both sides and take a media frame for a screen up to 65 inches, and the company says it fits in an estate car. Because you can swap panels between events, the company claims the system can save up to 80% of a promotional budget.
Hire with a free 3D render of your stand
You can hire a stand and get a free 3D render from your brief, and the company demonstrates the system over Zoom. For hire, it sets out five steps: brief, stand mock-up, quote, artwork design and installation. Its estimated quotes cover the aluminium structure, 3mm PVC graphic panels printed at high resolution with a crystal laminate, power distribution and sockets, LED lighting, display screens up to 65 inches, technical plans, RAMS and raised flooring. Our guide to briefing a stand builder lists what to prepare.
Built, stored and delivered for you
You can have its technicians build the display for you, and it stores labelled stands between shows, with its team handling delivery. Graphic panels are printed in the company’s own print facility in Glasgow, and it says every panel it produces is reusable and that it works with companies across the UK. Our guide to planning stand delivery and installation covers this.
Magic Modular is listed under stand design and build and on our Glasgow page. Other stand builders listed here include Access Displays, Nimlok and Quadrant2Design.
