You can compare civils, drainage and flood suppliers in one place over two days, 25 and 26 November 2026, at Excel London, with free entry for trade visitors and free CPD seminars. The National Civils Show is an annual trade event organised by Indigo Media & Events for suppliers of products and services to the civil engineering market and allied trades. The organiser says civils should not be reduced to a footnote in generic construction trade shows, and created this dedicated event for the civils industry.
Plan your visit on 25 and 26 November
You have two days on the floor, with doors open 10:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday 25 November and 10:00 to 16:00 on Thursday 26 November. Entry is free, but the show is trade only: everyone must register, and attendance is limited to professionals working in the industry and the contractors who serve it.
Target visitors include civil, structural, highways and rail engineers, infrastructure contractors, developers, local authorities, and architects and planners.
Earn CPD hours from free seminars
You can build up CPD hours without paying for a course, as every seminar is free, and the CPD Certification Service exhibits to answer your questions. The organiser promises more than 50 free, CPD-accredited presentations and live demonstrations. Two theatres run on both days, and the current programme includes:
- CECA on the policy and regulatory changes it says the infrastructure sector needs heading into 2027
- The technical director of the Lower Thames Crossing on building the road tunnel
- Volvo on lessons from electric construction equipment pilots on live central London sites
- SlimDril on turning site slurry and drilling spoil into a manageable solid on site
- LSBUD on free access to active utility information to avoid asset strikes
Meet plant, pipe, pump and drainage suppliers
You can cover several buying decisions in one visit, as stands are split into Civil Engineering and Flood & Drainage areas. Exhibitors include Renault Trucks, Radiodetection, SPI Piling, Lanes Group, Klargester, SPP Pumps and Southern Water, plus the National Association of Drainage Contractors and the National Flood Forum. EIA-numbered stands hold environmental firms such as Soilfix and SOCOTEC Environmental Science.
Reach visitors from three co-located shows
As an exhibitor you gain access to a wider audience, as the show runs alongside Floodex, the National Drainage Show and the Waterways Management Show, and the organiser expects a large crossover of visitors already attending those events. If you plan to walk all four, it helps to know what a co-located exhibition ticket actually covers. London Build Expo is also listed at Excel London from 25 November 2026.
Book a stand at published rates
You can cost your stand before you enquire. Space only is £419 per sq m, with a minimum of 18 sq m. Shell scheme is £469 per sq m from 9 sq m (3m x 3m), plus 10% for a corner, and includes wall panels, fascia, name board and carpet. A basic electrical package with power supply, a 500W socket and spotlights costs £349. Large kit and vehicle displays get concession rates depending on size. Every exhibitor gets a profile on the show website. Our guides on shell scheme or space only and building an exhibition budget help you weigh the options.
The organiser says it expects about 200 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors over the two days, and that it will not oversell space against qualified visitor numbers. The floor plan will be published nearer the show; until then the sales team can send the current plan.
Get to Excel London by DLR or car
You can arrive almost at the door by rail: Custom House (west entrance) and Prince Regent (east entrance) DLR stations sit on the venue campus, a change from the Jubilee line at Canning Town. Drivers can use the car park beneath the venue at £20 for up to 24 hours.
