About
Editorial policy
This policy explains how Exhibition UK researches, checks and presents information, and how commercial interests are kept apart from editorial decisions.
Where our information comes from
Show dates, venues, organisers and admission rules come from the organiser's official website, and we check venue details against the venue's own exhibitor pages. Supplier services and locations come from the company's own website. Guides cite official sources such as venue exhibitor information, organiser pages and regulators including the HSE and the ICO. We do not copy listings from other directories or import third-party databases.
Edition dates and check dates
Each show has one permanent page. Its current edition dates are confirmed at the organiser's site, and the page shows the date we last checked that source. Past editions stay in the show's edition record and drop out of the upcoming calendar once they end. Where an organiser has not announced dates, we say so rather than guessing, and we recheck shows as their dates approach.
What a listing means
Listings are compiled independently and published unclaimed. A claimed listing means an account authorised by the business or organiser can propose changes; it is not an endorsement, a quality check or a safety approval. Being listed, claimed or checked are separate facts, and none of them is a recommendation.
Paid placement
Nothing on Exhibition UK is currently paid for. If paid options are introduced, paid placement will be labelled as featured and sponsored, paid links will be marked as sponsored, and payment will not change a listing's facts, its position in factual results or anything we write in our guides.
How guides are written
Guides are practical planning information based on published sources, which are listed at the end of each article with the date they were checked. Unless a guide says otherwise, it is desk research: we do not claim to have attended a show, tested a product or used a supplier. We update guides when their sources change.
Common ownership
Exhibition UK shares common ownership with Stand Central, an exhibition display supplier. Stand Central's listing carries a disclosure, follows the same standard as every other supplier listing and receives no preferential treatment.
Corrections
If something is wrong, use our free corrections form or contact us. We check each request against the official source and update the record and its check date when we make a change. Corrections and removal never depend on payment.
