At the Brighton Centre your event has the main building to itself for its full length, because the venue hires it to one client exclusively for each event. You can run conferences of 400 to 4,450 delegates, the range the venue gives, with 5,000 m² of exhibition space spread over 28 event spaces, on Brighton seafront beside the Grand Hotel and about 53 miles from London.

Halls and spaces

You can lay out a large exhibition on up to 2,540 m² of continuous floor. Auditorium 1 on the first floor is the largest room, with 1,941 m² of pillar-free flat floor under a high ceiling with three fixed seating balconies. The East and West bars on either side can hold extra stands. Auditorium 2 next door has 597 m² with windows along one wall, and a link room joins the two auditoria into that 2,540 m² floor.

On the ground floor, the Foyer adds about 1,300 m² for large exhibitions behind a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, with secure storage and mobile cloakrooms for up to 1,000. Meeting Room 1, behind the Foyer, splits into two, three or four rooms; used with the Foyer for stands, it brings ground-floor exhibition space to 1,760 m². The third-floor Skyline is a sea-facing function room with a glass-walled terrace, which the venue suggests as a sponsors’ or hospitality suite during exhibitions.

Services for organisers and exhibitors

You get a single point of contact, free Wi-Fi and in-house catering, and you should plan for a cashless, luggage-free event.

  • Each confirmed event is given a dedicated event manager from the operations team.
  • Free delegate Wi-Fi runs throughout, and hard-wired lines can be supplied for live streaming, payment systems or stands running a product demonstration.
  • Catering comes from Seasoned, the venue’s long-standing partner.
  • The venue is cashless and asks organisers to run events luggage-free; ACT training is compulsory for all staff.

If you are a stand contractor, ask the event manager for loading bay, floor loading and power details when planning stand delivery and installation.

Accessibility

Your visitors get facilities including push-button entrance doors, a Changing Places facility, a quiet room included in venue hire, a digital induction loop, lifts to every floor and a stage lift for speakers. The venue reports that Attitude is Everything has renewed its Gold accreditation, and it won Silver for accessibility and inclusivity at the Beautiful South Awards 2024.

Getting there

Your visitors can walk from Brighton Station in 7 to 10 minutes, as it is 0.5 miles away down Queens Road to the seafront.
