Your freight handled from door to stand and back

You can buy EF-GSM’s work as one freight package covering your goods from your premises to the stand and beyond, built from four parts:

• Door to stand transport, collecting from the exhibitor’s premises and delivering straight to the stand, with the mode chosen on cost, timescale and the type of cargo.
• Customs clearance for temporary or permanent imports and exports, plus help preparing the paperwork.
• On-site representatives who co-ordinate deliveries, collections, direct offloads and labour through build-up and breakdown, then go through return instructions and issue labels and documents during the open days.
• Return shipping, either back to origin or on to the next event.

You can also ask EF-GSM for logistics consultancy and traffic management, planning in advance with venues, organisers and local authorities where needed, and it can supply on-site project supervisors. It states that key senior staff hold IOSH certification and sign off all RAMS (risk assessments and method statements). Trade associations and your shipping terms

You know which terms apply to your shipment, as all EF-GSM’s work is carried out under the BIFA terms and conditions, 2017 edition, and it supplies a copy on request. EF-GSM lists membership of IELA (International Exhibition Logistics Association), BIFA (British International Freight Association) and FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations).

Where to send your freight

You need to send your goods to EF-GSM’s UK warehouse in Feltham, Middlesex, care of Logicall UK, because the Borough Green office does not accept freight. The warehouse is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00. EF-GSM asks to be told about every delivery and collection order in advance.
