Europa International

With Europa International you can hire the furniture, panelling and floor coverings for your exhibition, conference or corporate event from one family-run company with 25,000 hire products. Europa International says it has traded since 1961, and it will supply your event anywhere in Europe. Besides the main catalogue it runs separate city furniture hire websites for Birmingham and London. Graphics and electrical items are also offered.

Furniture for your stand and seminar areas

You can price your stand furniture from the online catalogue, which is split by product type and lists items with a product code, a hire price and, for most, their dimensions. Seating ranges from linking seminar chairs and folding chairs to faux leather tub chairs, cubes and benches, Buckingham leather sofas and designer styles including Swan, Ghost and Corbusier chairs. Tables cover coffee, round, rectangular and high bar tables, with illuminated bar tables among them. For working areas on your stand there are lockable computer workstations for one, two or three users, charging stations, lockable cupboards and lockers, counters from a 0.5m podium unit to a 1.5m sales counter, and reception and registration desks that can take a printed graphic.

Display stands and showcases

You can show your products and literature on hired display items, including three, four and five shelf stands, cubic shelving, chrome literature racks, A3 and A4 brochure stands, iPad stands and lecterns with a separate graphic panel. Glass showcase cabinets run from a 0.5m case to a double 1m tallboy, most of them lit and lockable, and a glass jewellery cabinet is also listed. The Europalite counter is an illuminated unit, and a translucent graphic to design is hired separately for it.

Panels, shell scheme and flooring

You can hire your stand’s walls and floor too, from a company that says it has hired panels to the events and exhibition industry for more than 50 years. Its range takes in the Eurosystem shell scheme and baffle walling, both priced on application, along with freestanding panels and room dividers, notice and pin boards, winged display panels, zig-zag panel configurations, two, four and five panel display boards and a dwarf walling barrier. Spotlights, extension leads and curtain tracks are offered as panel accessories. If you are weighing up shell scheme or space only, Europa hires both the walling and the furniture to dress it. Floor coverings include iCord carpet, velour and vinyl cut from 4m widths and 18mm and 40mm raised platforms, all priced per square metre, with aluminium edging priced per linear metre and a red carpet option priced on application.

What you pay and how delivery works

You get delivery and collection included in catalogue prices where Europa is the appointed contractor for the event. Prices exclude VAT. In other cases the company quotes separately, with a minimum charge that depends on the delivery and collection involved, and it says discounts may be available depending on volume and specification. As a guide when building an exhibition budget, a 1m counter is listed at £88, a single lockable computer pod workstation at £148 and a five-shelf display stand at £104, all before VAT.
