Experience and international reach

Your contractor’s roots go back to 2001, when it started as the UK contracting partner for Skyline US, which it describes as the largest maker of modular exhibition systems at the time. In 2014 it formed a partnership with Aluvision, and its about page names it an Aluvision Connect Ambassador. That year also marked the start of its work with Creaplan on projects in mainland Europe. Through the group it now has locations in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, North America and the Middle East.

One stand planned to work at several events

You get a stand planned around venue regulations, floor plans and ceiling heights, so one stand can be installed at several events, and the company says its designers work alongside its own fabrication team. Its portfolio is split into custom stands, modular stands, double-deck stands, brand events and digital work. Projects run in three stages it calls concept, design and realise. Concepts are explored through sketches, mood boards and 3D visualisations, followed by material choices and detailed technical drawings before fabrication and installation. A stand you can reuse at later shows

You can take your stand to later shows, because the company builds many stands as modular systems that can be reconfigured and given new graphics, and it offers refurbishment, component upgrades and storage. It lists FSC-certified timber where timber is needed, solvent-free inks for large-format graphics, recyclable fabric graphics printed with water-based inks, recyclable flooring, reusable raised floors and LED lighting. It reports zero waste to landfill since 2022 and says its London production facility runs on renewable energy. Surplus event materials go to community groups through Event Cycle, and it measures its carbon footprint with Greenly.

Certified quality and environmental standards

You can check its standards before you appoint it. Skyline Whitespace has held ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification since 2024. It is a Living Wage Employer, holds Good Business Charter accreditation and names Better Stands and Women in Exhibitions among its partners. Its about page lists awards from the AEO Excellence Awards, ESSA Awards, Exhibition News Awards, MBBA and World Exhibition Awards between 2022 and 2026.
