At Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival you can source wholesale home, gift and lifestyle ranges from more than 500 exhibiting brands at Harrogate Convention Centre each July. Clarion Events runs the trade show for retail buyers, calls it a summer buying festival, puts attendance at over 6,000 visitors and says it has served the industry for more than 66 years. It sits among the retail and gift trade shows listed here and is one of several events on the Harrogate show calendar.

Admission is for the trade, and you can register interest for 2027 now on the show website, where retail buyers sign up. The next show runs from Sunday 18 to Wednesday 21 July 2027, the same Sunday to Wednesday pattern as the 2026 edition, which took place from 19 to 22 July.

Who the show is for
Whatever the size of your shop, the visitor FAQ says the show suits small and large retailers, with brands across all price points, and that it is not limited to gift shops. The organiser names independent retailers, department stores, multiple retailers, concept stores, garden centres, online retailers and interior buyers as its audience, and its exhibitor pages also mention gift shops and tourist stores. Because the show falls in July, the organiser pitches it as the point where you complete your autumn and winter ranges, top up stock mid-season and pick out likely sellers before the busiest trading weeks.
Six product categories in one place
You can buy across the six product categories the homepage lists:
- Design-led gift and homewares
- Gift and home
- Fashion and jewellery
- Greetings and stationery
- Food and drink
- Wellbeing
The Why Visit page also names home accessories, home fragrance and interiors, giftware and souvenirs, fashion accessories and jewellery, stationery, wellbeing and lifestyle, seasonal gifting, and food and drink.
The homepage counts more than 20,000 products on show, while the Why Visit page gives 2,000 or more. Brands featured on the homepage include Crux Puzzles, Noa Jewellery, COCOBA Chocolate, Henry & Co Home Fragrance and Zimpli Kids. Stand numbers are prefixed by hall, with halls including A, B, C, M, DP1, DP3 and DP4. The organiser describes a relaxed, social atmosphere across the four days, and a testimonial on the homepage mentions the Alfresco Bar.
Reaching buyers as an exhibitor
As an exhibitor you meet visitors the organiser says are 88% key decision makers, with a combined buying budget of more than £900 million. The show takes established suppliers alongside brands new to the market, and the organiser describes exhibitors as giftware and homeware brands, lifestyle and design-led interiors labels, fashion accessory and jewellery suppliers, and wholesale distributors and manufacturers. You can send an exhibitor enquiry or book a stand through the site, which also has an Exhibitor E-Zone for exhibitors. If you are a first-time exhibitor weighing up a summer show, read our notes on choosing your first UK trade show and building an exhibition budget.
Getting there, with rail and hotel discounts
You can cut the cost of your trip with an LNER discount code and hotel rooms at up to 30% off.
- By road the centre is signposted from the A61. On-site parking is limited to around 158 spaces, with more than 1,200 further spaces in the Jubilee and Victoria car parks nearby. The organiser says there will be no park and ride at this year’s show.
- Harrogate station, a short walk away, has up to five trains an hour, and direct trains from London King’s Cross take from 2 hours 43 minutes. The show site gives an LNER discount code worth 25%.
- Hotel rooms near the centre can be booked through the official accommodation partner, EventBeds by NuBreed Hotels, with discounts of up to 30%.
Other trade shows for gift and home buyers
