Equinox Group

Equinox Group is the trading name of Equinox Design Limited, a Leeds company that designs and builds exhibition stands, chalets and event environments in-house. It dates itself to 1983, when it started from a small workshop in Leeds, and it now works from Equinox Park on Jack Lane. One team from first sketch to on-site support

You deal with designers, architects, fabricators and digital and AV specialists who all work for the company, and it says every stage from the first sketch to installation and on-site support is handled in-house. Its project pages list the services each job used, typically concept design, visualisation, technical drawings, approvals and certifications, fabrication, rigging, graphics, AV, electrics, furniture and logistics. Its own logistics team moves stands and brand assets between its central storage hubs and the venue and back. Its about page puts the team at 74 people.

Large and technical builds at home and abroad

If your stand has to carry heavy structure or a lot of technology, its project write-ups are the place to look. For Helsing at DSEI UK 2025 at Excel London it engineered a 4.7m aluminium-framed pod, certified to hall standards, to hold a large LED wall alongside meeting areas and secure wired internet for demos. For Digitain at ICE Barcelona 2026 it built a 960m² stand with an enclosed VIP zone, private meeting rooms and LED environments, and for Helsing at ILA Berlin 2026 it turned sixteen containers into a two-storey chalet. The company says it first worked abroad in 1996, and its home page counts 730 projects, 285 of them outside the UK.

Reusable stands for repeat UK shows

You can ask for a stand designed to come back next year. For Munich Re Specialty and HSB at the BIBA Conference 2026 at Manchester Central it delivered a shared 8m by 8m stand, and the brief asked for reusable assets so later BIBA appearances could use them. The company holds ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management. It says it works across budgets, tailors the scope to fit, and replies to enquiries within one working day.
