Oakmace

Oakmace designs, manufactures and installs bespoke exhibition stands and keeps them between shows in a 10,000sqm storage facility at Waltham Abbey in Essex. Its trading address is Aimes Green Farm, Galley Hill, Waltham Abbey. The Oakmace name has been in the exhibition industry since 1996, and the current company, Oakmace Events Ltd, was incorporated on 8 September 2020 according to Companies House. It sits in our stand design and build section.

One team from drawing board to show floor

You deal with one company for the whole job. Oakmace says it manages every stage in house: its designers produce sketches, colour renderings and 3D visuals, then CAD drawings for its carpenters, joiners and fabricators. Components are pre-finished with laminates and coverings in its UK workshops, which shortens build-up time at the venue. It can also arrange graphics and signage from your print-ready artwork, furniture from its own stock and trusted hire suppliers, carpet, vinyl or bespoke flooring, lighting and truss, health and safety submissions and service bookings.

Store your stand and use it again

If you exhibit often, you can have your stand stored, cleaned and refurbished between events so you are not paying for a new build each time. The storage is fully insured, and Oakmace says it runs further storage sites across the UK with access to the motorways and channel ports. Its own fleet, including a 7.5 tonne vehicle and an 18 tonne articulated lorry, is driven by HGV Class 1 drivers on UK and European contracts, so transport stays with the team that built the stand.

A long portfolio at the shows you may be booked into

Its portfolio runs from 2008 to the current season and is filtered by space only, shell scheme interior and double decker builds. Recent work includes One Identity at Infosecurity Europe 2024, 2025 and 2026, AddSecure, CDVI, Hytera and Fogsphere at The Security Event, BookFusion and Moseley Road at The London Book Fair 2026, Sabert at Packaging Innovations and Empack, Inis and Turner Bianca at Spring Fair 2026, TLT Manufacturing at Subcon 2026, Hytera at the Retail Technology Show and Agence Chic at London Packaging Week 2025. Clients such as Welspun, Christy and Ivyline appear year after year. Abroad it has built at Heimtextil, IBC, DMEXCO and Mobile World Congress.

Venues it delivers to

Oakmace names ExCeL London, Olympia London, the NEC and Manchester Central among the venues it serves from Essex, which suits exhibitors working the London shows. Before you ask for a design, our guide to briefing a stand builder lists what to have ready.
