How we compared each supplier and its service
We read each supplier’s own website on 5 November 2026 and only included companies that have a listing on Exhibition UK. Prices are the lowest we could find for a complete stand or kit, excluding VAT, as the supplier published them that day. We have not bought from these companies, so this is a comparison of what they offer and publish, not a product test.
We ranked them on five things:
- whether you can buy a stand outright, and whether the price is published or only quoted
- whether you can also hire, or build it yourself
- how easily the stand can be reused and reconfigured for a different space
- dispatch times, delivery and installation services
- guarantees, storage and repairs between shows
Buying and reuse carry the most weight, because most people asking which supplier is best want to know where to buy a stand they can use again. Nobody paid to be included or for their position. Where a company only quotes per project, we ranked it on what it publishes about its process, reuse and guarantees.

The 10 best exhibition stand suppliers in the UK, ranked
1. Quadrant2Design
Quadrant2Design designs and builds stands on a reusable modular framework covered entirely in graphic panels, from its studio and factory in Poole. It says it has traded for 26 years and builds around 500 stands a year for spaces from 9 to 100 sq m. Its 3m x 3m modular designs are priced online, with a stand open on two sides at £2,308.98 + VAT and the tallest ultra high level version at £4,251.97.
If you don’t want to own the frame, its FREE-Hire PRO plan supplies the structure on free hire while you pay for the graphic panels (which you keep), project management and installation. Graphics are stored free between shows and reworked for the next space, and the company says 92% of its exhibitors use this plan.
Best for: a stand that gets the attention of a custom build but reuses the same kit at every show. See the Quadrant2Design listing.
2. T3 Systems
T3 Systems invented the T3 Twist & Lock aluminium system and makes it at its own sites in Harlow and Trappes in France, with its UK company at the Business Design Centre in London. You buy from the manufacturer, so there is no reseller margin. Bought stands start from £3,000, and its cost guide puts a 6m x 3m modular stand at £5,000 to £8,000 to buy. Your own team can put it up without tools in two to four hours.
If you exhibit once or twice a year, T3Xtra hire starts from about £1,000 per show for a shell scheme upgrade, with design, installation and collection included. It sends a free 3D design and itemised quote within 24 business hours, and says buying breaks even after two to three shows.
Best for: buying a modular exhibition stand direct from the people who make it. See the T3 Systems listing.
3. XL Displays
XL Displays manufactures stands and display products in Orton Southgate, Peterborough, where it also has a design studio and showroom you can visit. Prices are on the site: a FABLOK 3m x 3m tension fabric stand with a storage cupboard is £2,269 ex VAT, printed and dispatched in 5 working days, and it offers a price promise. FABLOK uses two banner sizes and linking brackets, so the same kit can be laid out in different shapes.
For bigger shows it hires turnkey stands on its Integra system, from 47 pre-configured kits starting with a 2m x 2m corner kit at £6,900, with a dedicated project manager.
Best for: buying from clear online prices, with the option of a fully managed hire stand. See the XL Displays listing.
4. Stand Central
Stand Central sells complete exhibition stand kits and the separate walls, counters and banners that go with them. A complete 3m x 3m starter kit with a wall, counter and banner stand is £999.95 ex VAT, a 3m x 3m kit with a 2.4m fabric wall, counter, monolith and literature stand is £1,099.95, and 3m x 6m kits start at £2,099.95. For larger spaces it sells Fastframe, Modulate and Vector modular stands from 9 m² to 24 m² with a storeroom and counter, such as a 9 m² Fastframe stand at £3,747.95.
Every order comes with FREE artwork design or proofing, it is dispatched within 5 days with express options available, UK delivery is free over £200 and it offers a price promise. The range is reusable, it sells recyclable board stand kits from £749.95, and its WaveLine Media fabric kits carry a lifetime warranty on the hardware. It ranks fourth rather than higher because it sells kits and system stands rather than designing one-off space-only builds, so if you need a full design and build service, the top three cover more.
Best for: a small business that wants a complete 3m x 3m or 3m x 6m stand delivered ready to put up itself. See the Stand Central listing.
5. Nimlok
Nimlok has traded from Wellingborough since 1970 and says it delivers at least 450 projects a year. Its Fastframe tool-free system starts from £2,700 ex VAT and packs into a case, and its portable range includes tension fabric displays from £420 ex VAT. Illumigo Modular lightbox panels are 0.85m wide so they fit inside standard shell scheme bays.
For larger stands, its Bespoke Hire service builds on average about 80% of the stand from hired framework, lighting and features, with custom graphics and woodwork that can be stored at its site between shows.
Best for: using one company for a portable kit now and a bigger bespoke hire stand later. See the Nimlok listing.

6. Display Wizard
Display Wizard has printed exhibition graphics in Garstang, Lancashire since 2004, and your brand artwork is printed in-house. Its QwikFRAME 4m x 2m L-shape modular kit is £1,309.50 ex VAT, replacement SEG graphics start at £12, and most products are despatched within 3 to 5 working days of your artwork. Standard delivery to mainland UK takes 2 to 3 working days, with next-day and Saturday couriers if the show is close. Hardware carries a 5-year, 10-year or lifetime guarantee depending on the system, and its kits come with a free 3D visual.
Best for: a low-cost modular kit with a quick turnaround. See the Display Wizard listing.
7. GH Display
GH Display is a family-run company on a two-acre site near Peterborough, dating back to 1976. It says its bespoke stands can be reused for up to ten years and reconfigured for different stand sizes, because most are built from its own hire components, refurbished before each show. You can hire, buy outright or mix the two, and it stores your stand between shows with condition checks, cleaning and repairs. It says that if you exhibit two or more times a year, buying is often paid back within a year.
Best for: a custom stand you plan to use for several years, with the brand panels refreshed when your messaging changes. See the GH Display listing.
8. Clip
Clip was founded in Bristol in 1979 and now has offices in Bristol and Düsseldorf. Its bespoke stands include free hire of the stand structure, a dedicated project manager and, the company says, no invoice for extras you have not agreed. Its reconfigurable stands reuse the same core frame with new graphics, from a 3m x 3m space upwards, and its PixlipGo lightbox hardware carries a lifetime, no-questions guarantee.
Best for: a managed stand where the price you agree is the price you pay. See the Clip listing.
9. Magic Modular
Magic Modular designs, sells and hires its own frame system from Glasgow, using aluminium frames, connectors and printed panels that join like building blocks. Sets run from MM6 to MM36 for spaces of 2 to 100 sq m. The MM6 kit holds six 750 x 1000mm frames on an aluminium trolley, and the company says it goes up in under 15 minutes.
Best for: a small team that wants to build its own stand quickly and leave the installers out of it. See the Magic Modular listing.
10. Aspect Exhibitions
Aspect Exhibitions is a family-owned contractor in Northampton, formed in 1991. You can hire, buy or self-build on R8, a German aluminium system compatible with Octanorm, or on Meroform and Tecna kits, collected from Northampton or delivered to site. Its Colonnade system is offered for hire or sale, and it says some clients have reused its custom stands four times a year for more than five years.
Best for: self-build systems you can hire or buy from a contractor in the Midlands. See the Aspect Exhibitions listing.
Custom exhibition stand design and build, other companies to consider
If you need a larger custom exhibition stand rather than a kit, a design and build company will handle the whole project for you: the stand design and your brand graphics, project management, logistics to the venue, installation and storage after the show. These companies are also listed with that service:
- Access Displays, near Swindon since 1990, hires stands on beMatrix, Aluvision and T3 Airframe frames.
- Skyline Whitespace in London designs and manages stands for single shows or programmes across several countries.
- Motive Exhibitions in St Neots builds bespoke and modular stands, with small custom stands from about £3,000.
- Exhibit 3Sixty in Coventry returns designs and quotations within seven days of a brief.
- Full Circle Events and Exhibitions in Salford offers a Show Ready range of tested modular designs.

You can browse every exhibition stand builder, every display and graphics supplier or all exhibition stand suppliers on Exhibition UK.
Modular exhibition stands, should you buy or hire?
Start with how often you exhibit. If you do one show a year, hire is usually simpler, because the stand is designed, installed and taken away for you and there is nothing to store. From two shows a year, buying a modular stand tends to work out cheaper: GH Display says the cost is often recovered within a year, and T3 puts the break-even point at two to three shows.

Whichever you choose, work out the cost per show rather than the upfront price (the exhibition industry rarely quotes it that way, so you may need to ask), and include graphics, delivery, installation and storage. Our guide to building an exhibition budget covers the other costs, and shell scheme or space only explains which type of stand your booking needs.
Key checks before you choose an exhibition stand contractor
- Send every supplier the same stand plan, size, open sides and brand guidelines so their quotes compare. Our guide to briefing a stand builder has a checklist.
- Ask what you own at the end. With some free hire plans you own the graphics but not the frame.
- Check what is included: design, graphics, delivery, installation, dismantling and storage.
- Compare the dispatch time with your show date, and allow for artwork approval.
- Ask how many people it takes to build, and whether you need tools.
- Ask about the guarantee on the hardware and what replacement graphics cost.
If the supplier is delivering and building at the venue, our guide to planning stand delivery and installation covers booking slots and access.
Questions buyers ask about exhibition stand suppliers
Who are the best exhibition stand suppliers in the UK?
For a stand you buy and reuse, Quadrant2Design, T3 Systems and XL Displays came out strongest in our comparison, followed by Stand Central for complete small-stand kits. For a custom exhibition stand design and build service, Nimlok, GH Display and Clip are the strongest of the builders we list.
Which UK companies sell exhibition stands to buy rather than hire?
Quadrant2Design, T3 Systems, XL Displays, Stand Central, Nimlok, Display Wizard and Magic Modular all sell stands you can own. GH Display and Aspect Exhibitions sell them too, alongside hire.
How much does it cost to buy an exhibition stand?
From the prices published on 5 November 2026, a complete 3m x 3m kit starts at £999.95 ex VAT, a 3m x 3m modular stand at around £2,300, and a 6m x 3m modular stand at £5,000 to £8,000. Custom builds are quoted per project.
