RDW Exhibitions

RDW Exhibitions designs, manufactures, builds and sets up exhibition stands from Ruyton Road, Little Ness, near Shrewsbury in Shropshire. Richard Dodson-Wells founded the business in 1980 supplying modular display kits, and it later added a second site for custom-built stands. The current firm, RDW Exhibitions LLP, was registered in June 2005. Its home page carries an ESSA member badge, and it sits in our stand design and build and displays and graphics sections.

Hire, buy or store, with one team

You can hire a stand or buy one. RDW says hired stands are inspected, cleaned and refurbished after each use and can still carry your own colours and graphics. If you buy, its warehouse at the second site stores your stand, furniture, literature and giveaways together, packs them and keeps an inventory that it updates each time the stand goes out or changes. A dedicated account manager takes your brief at the start.

Modular, custom or a mix

RDW carries more than 20,000 modular display panels from several makers and says it can pick and dispatch many display kits within 48 hours. Its modular stands use bespoke lighting pelmets and large format print, reconfigure for different stand sizes and travel flat-packed. For a custom stand, its designers produce 3D CAD visuals before a panel is lifted, and Aliaxis says the option of a pre-build at RDW let it check structures made from its own pipework before the show.

Indoor halls, fields and county shows

RDW builds outdoor as well as indoor stands. Its outdoor service covers marquees, outdoor gantry, flags, furniture and flooring, and its events list runs from the Royal Welsh Show, the Royal Cornwall Show and the NSA sheep events to LAMMA, the Low Carbon Agriculture Show and UK Dairy Day. NWF Agriculture says RDW builds its stands both in fields and in exhibition centres, and the International Cheese and Dairy Awards use it as principal stand contractor.

Venues and shows across the country

RDW lists work at the NEC, ExCeL London, Telford International Centre, NAEC Stoneleigh, ICC Wales and SEC Glasgow, among others, and at shows including the Commercial Vehicle Show, Packaging Innovations and Empack, Multimodal, the Health and Safety Event and the Executive Hire Show.
